ORGANISMO
Performance
A 60min performance within a wool installation, mixing circus, dance, object theater
ORGANISMO is a whole, formed from interacting individual parts and is ” itself more than the sum of its parts “. (Aristotle)
ORGANISMO is a multidisciplinary sensory performance piece. A mixture of art installation, contemporary circus, object theater and live music, based on an intricate, knitted wool scenography. The audience is drawn into an organic and haptic level of experience. The colors, materials, sensations and sounds transport visitors into a kaleidoscopic, immersive world. A collective dynamic brings the art installation to life in a multidimensional way and weaves a being out of threads, limbs and bodies. bodies. A sea of movement and live music flows together to create and animate electronically and percussively this organism, whereby physical precision and blind trust intertwine the performers.

When I surrender to looking in a sample of Maraña, I ask myself what if I were not who I think I am? What if I were also a part of a larger organism? This idea of being moved through interaction has an appeal that somehow relieves me and inspires me to fantasize.
